dont be a boehner

Friends and family. No matter what happens next weekend I would like to give it up for all of our generous sponsors. The people that represent these brands recognize the MTB community is alive and well and have shown the following support:

Jay from Specialized has not only provided over $1000 worth of merchandise, but will have Specialized bikes at the event to demo. Thanks!

Supplement Superstores will be in attendance providing nutrition to the tired and hungry masses. Thanks!

Caleb from Redbull will be there with canned motivation. And high fives… Thanks!

Dave from Pabst Blue Ribbon will be supplying the cold, delicious beer. Not to mention the usual PBR schwag! Thanks!

Aaron from Mavic has given some awesome wheelsets for prizes. Thanks!

Brad from Sram will have the latest goodies to ogle. Thanks!

Jared from Shimano will provide pro course tape, Light and Motion prizes and demos, and the big blue Shimano truck with technical support from Randy. Thanks!

Tj from Focus Bikes has thrown in some schwag. Thanks!

We also have products from Quality Bicycle Products such as Surly and Salsa. Thanks!

Bell Sports, Swiftwick, Serfas, have also sent some great prizes. Thanks!

Chris for providing prizes from Woolrich and Eagles Nest Outfitters. Thanks!

Thanks to Russ and Adrienne for making this all possible. The shop is responsible for the t-shirts, buckles, and hundreds of dollars for cash prizes. Thanks!

Personally, I would like to say thanks to Quantum Racing, GORC, and Team Seagal for volunteers, bj the dj, cc the mc, scooter the podium girl, wendy the rock, rock the t-shirt designer, the trail crew consisting of Jimmy, Nico, Zoll, Pryor, Drewby, + Mashor. These guys have spent countless hours prepping the course for maximum shredding. Thanks to Matt and Chris of 2timingguys for timing the event. Stacy, our gracious campground hostess for giving us the park. Thanks!

Finally, thank all of you for supporting the Tenth Annual Burnin at the Bluff. Thanks!

  3. That my friend is dependent on House Speaker John Boner and President No Compromise Obama coming or not coming up with a plan. I would strongly recommend keeping an ear to the ground. Like a freight train if it's coming you'll hear it (besides we don't want to step in the way of this fine event should the idiots in DC actually do the right thing.

  4. So what you're trying to say is... go anyways and it will be a Party in the USA?

  5. Of course. While I have only made one Burnin' a quick observatoion was that when Farinella and Team Seagal are involved it is the equivalent of a Category 5 hurricane.
